With the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI), AI anxiety has emerged and is receiving widespread attention, but research on this topic is not comprehensive. Therefore, we investigated the dimensions of AI anxiety using the theoretical model of integrated fear acquisition and a questionnaire survey. A total of 494 valid questionnaires were recovered. Through a first-order confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), a factor model of AI anxiety was constructed, and eight factors of AI anxiety were verified. Then, a second-order CFA was applied to verify the adaptation of the factor structure of AI anxiety to fear acquisition. We identified four dimensions of AI anxiety and proposed a theory of AI anxiety acquisition that illustrates four pathways of AI anxiety acquisition. Each pathway includes two factors that cause AI anxiety. We conclude by analyzing the limitations of current AI anxiety research and proposing a broader research agenda for AI anxiety.  相似文献

Rate-distortion optimization (RDO) is conventionally based on the analysis of rate-distortion (R-D) curve to minimize the coding distortion under the coding bits constraint. However, it is necessary to consider the computational complexity in the RDO process. In this paper, we obtain the Confidence LEvel - Computational complexity (CLEC) curves which indicate the characteristics of coding tree units (CTUs). Based on the CLEC curves, a rate-distortion-complexity optimization (RDCO) algorithm is proposed to optimize R-D under given computational complexity and achieve the optimal coding performance for x265. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can achieve a wide range of encoding speed under a given quantization parameter (QP) whereas the original x265 can only achieve a few fixed encoding speeds, and the proposed algorithm can reduce the BD-rate and increase the BD-PSNR by 6.59% and 0.13 dB on average under the same requirements of encoding speeds as the original x265.  相似文献

Due to the severe outdoor PM2.5 pollution in China, many people have installed air-cleaning systems in homes. To make the systems run automatically and intelligently, we developed a recurrent neural network (RNN) that uses historical data to predict the future indoor PM2.5 concentration. The RNN architecture includes an autoencoder and a recurrent part. We used data measured in an apartment over the course of an entire year to train and test the RNN. The data include indoor/outdoor PM2.5 concentration, environmental parameters and time of day. By comparing three different input strategies, we found that a strategy employing historical PM2.5 and time of day as inputs performed best. With this strategy, the model can be applied to predict the relatively stable trend of indoor PM2.5 concentration in advance. When the input length is 2 h and the prediction horizon is 30 min, the median prediction error is 8.3 µg/m3 for the whole test set. For times with indoor PM2.5 concentrations between (20,50] µg/m3 and (50,100] µg/m3, the median prediction error is 8.3 and 9.2 µg/m3, respectively. The low prediction error between the ground-truth and predicted values shows that the RNN can predict indoor PM2.5 concentrations with satisfactory performance.  相似文献

This work was aimed at determining the feasibility of artificial neural networks (ANN) by implementing backpropagation algorithms with default settings to generate better predictive models than multiple linear regression (MLR) analysis. The study was hypothesized on timolol-loaded liposomes. As tutorial data for ANN, causal factors were used, which were fed into the computer program. The number of training cycles has been identified in order to optimize the performance of the ANN. The optimization was performed by minimizing the error between the predicted and real response values in the training step. The results showed that training was stopped at 10?000 training cycles with 80% of the pattern values, because at this point the ANN generalizes better. Minimum validation error was achieved at 12 hidden neurons in a single layer. MLR has great prediction ability, with errors between predicted and real values lower than 1% in some of the parameters evaluated. Thus, the performance of this model was compared to that of the MLR using a factorial design. Optimal formulations were identified by minimizing the distance among measured and theoretical parameters, by estimating the prediction errors. Results indicate that the ANN shows much better predictive ability than the MLR model. These findings demonstrate the increased efficiency of the combination of ANN and design of experiments, compared to the conventional MLR modeling techniques.  相似文献

根据水泥熟料煅烧过程操作控制原理研发的"回转窑人工智能专家系统"采用了人工智能模拟技术、实时数据清洗技术、控制数据关联匹配技术。该系统由分解炉出口温度自动控制系统、篦速自动控制系统和氨水用量自动控制系统三个模块组成。该系统投运后,分解炉出口温度控制有效率由之前人工控制的平均60%~70%提高至平均80%~95%;篦下压力和二次风温稳定性提高;氨水消耗量下降显著;窑系统投料量增加10 t/h左右,熟料标准煤耗降低2.85 kg/t,熟料强度均有提高。  相似文献

The biological production of biohydrogen through dark fermentation is a very complex system where the use of an artificial neuron network (ANN) for prediction, controlling and monitoring has a great potential. In this study three ANN models based on volatile fatty acids (VFA) production and speciation were evaluated for their capacity to predict (i) accumulated H2 production, (ii) hydrogen production rate and (iii) H2 yield. Lab-scale biohydrogen and VFA production kinetics from a previous study were used for training and validation of the models. The input parameters studied were: time and acetate and butyrate concentrations (model 1), time and lactate, acetate, propionate and butyrate concentrations (model 2), time and the sum of all VFA (model 3) and time and butyrate/acetate (model 4). All models could predict biohydrogen accumulated production, hydrogen production rate and H2 yield with high accuracy (R2 > 0.987). VFAT is the input parameter indicated for processes using pure cultures, while for complex/mixed cultures a model based on acetate and butyrate is recommended.  相似文献

This paper presents a new methodology to identify and diagnose intermittent stochastic faults occurring in a process. A generalized polynomial chaos (gPC) expansion representing the stochastic inputs is employed in combination with the nonlinear mechanistic model of the process to calculate the resulting statistical distribution of measured variables that are used for fault detection and classification. A Galerkin projection based stochastic finite difference analysis is utilized to transform the stochastic mechanistic equation into a coupled deterministic system of equations which is solved numerically to obtain the gPC expansion coefficients. To detect and recognize faults, the probability density functions (PDFs) and joint confidence regions (JCRs) of the measured variables to be used for fault detection are obtained by substituting samples from a random space into the gPC expansions. The method is applied to a two dimensional heat transfer problem with faults consisting of stochastic changes combined with step change variations in the thermal diffusivity and in a boundary condition. The proposed methodology is compared with a Monte Carlo (MC) simulations based approach to illustrate its advantages in terms of computational efficiency as well as accuracy.  相似文献

A new hybrid assembly line design, called parallel U-shaped assembly line system, is introduced and characterised along with numerical examples for the first time. Different from existing studies on U-shaped lines, we combine the advantages of two individual line configurations (namely parallel lines and U-shaped lines) and create an opportunity for assigning tasks to multi-line workstations located in between two adjacent U-shaped lines with the aim of maximising resource utilisation. Utilisation of crossover workstations, in which tasks from opposite areas of a same U-shaped line can be performed, is also one of the main advantages of the U-shaped lines. As in traditional U-shaped line configurations, the newly proposed line configuration also supports the utilisation of crossover workstations. An efficient heuristic algorithm is developed to find well-balanced solutions for the proposed line configurations. Test cases derived from existing studies and modified in accordance with the proposed system in this study are solved using the proposed heuristic algorithm. The comparison of results obtained when the lines are balanced independently and when the lines are balanced together (in parallel to each other) clearly indicates that the parallelisation of U-shaped lines helps decrease the need for workforce significantly.  相似文献

The tightly coupled INS/GPS integration introduces nonlinearity to the measurement equation of the Kalman filter due to the use of raw GPS pseudorange measurements. The extended Kalman filter (EKF) is a typical method to address the nonlinearity by linearizing the pseudorange measurements. However, the linearization may cause large modeling error or even degraded navigation solution. To solve this problem, this paper constructs a nonlinear measurement equation by including the second-order term in the Taylor series of the pseudorange measurements. Nevertheless, when using the unscented Kalman filter (UKF) to the INS/GPS integration for navigation estimation, it causes a great amount of redundant computation in the prediction process due to the linear feature of system state equation, especially for the case with system state vector in much higher dimension than measurement vector. To overcome this drawback in computational burden, this paper further develops a derivative UKF based on the constructed nonlinear measurement equation. The derivative UKF adopts the concise form of the original Kalman filter (KF) to the prediction process and employs the unscented transformation technique to the update process. Theoretical analysis and simulation results demonstrate that the derivative UKF can achieve higher accuracy with a much smaller computational cost in comparison with the traditional UKF.  相似文献

Mechanical connection of composite is critical due to its complicated meso-structure and failure mode, which has become a bottleneck on reliability of composite material and structure. Although many researches on composite bolted joints have been carried out, the theory and experiment on mechanical behavior of such a joint structure under dynamic loading were rarely reported. Here, we propose a novel predictive model for quasi-static and dynamic stiffness of composite bolted joint by introducing the strain rate dependent elastic modulus into the mass spring model. Combined with the composite laminate theory and Tsai-Hill theory, the present model was capable of predicting the strain rate dependent stiffness and strength of the composite bolted joint. Quasi-static and impact loading experiments were carried out by Zwick universal hydraulic testing machine and split Hopkinson tension bar, respectively. The stiffness and strength predicted by our model showed good accordance with the experiment data with errors below 12% under quasi-static loading and below 30% under impact loading. The results indicated that under impact loading, stiffness and strength of the composite bolted joint were significantly higher than their quasi-static counterparts, while the failure mode of the joint structure trended towards localization which was mainly bearing failure. Among various lay-up ratios studied, the optimal lay-up ratio for quasi-static and dynamic stiffness was 0:±45:90 = 3:1:1.  相似文献
